I’m a communications and marketing specialist with over 18 years’ experience in the NHS and charity sectors, helping organisations connect with their audiences in ways that truly resonate.
I’ve crafted charity fundraising campaigns from scratch, turned complex NHS jargon into clear, engaging content, and led community engagement for projects as ambitious as building a new hospital.
I believe you never stop learning. I hold Diplomas in Copywriting (Distinction) and Digital Marketing, alongside specialist training in media relations, crisis communications, Google Ads, accessibility, and stakeholder management. Every new skill I’ve gained has been driven by one goal - helping people and organisations tell their story in the most effective way possible.
Writing has always been at the heart of what I do, both professionally and personally.
I was a student of the Academy of Children’s Writers while working as an early years teacher, and I’ve had articles published in journals and books, often inspired by real-life case studies from my work.


I worked for a hospital charity for 10 years — a role that unexpectedly sparked a life-changing journey.
What started as a job soon became a passion, leading me to trek across multiple remote landscapes and raise over £20,000 for causes close to my heart.
I’m an avid traveller and storyteller. Before each adventure, I searched for honest, first-hand accounts but found very little - so I kept detailed diaries along the way and am in the process of publishing them to help future trekkers know exactly what to expect.
